I'm 36, and I can co-sign onto all of these. I'm embarrassed to admit I finally realized this year that you never get anything done if you don't start. I've always been a person who researches a lot and reads all the books, but all of that means nothing if you don't take action. I wish that had sunk in sooner because I've wasted a lot of time *believing* I was doing a lot, but actually getting nothing done. I thought I could skip the beginner stages by researching. But there is no skipping the beginner stages of anything, so suck it up and push through.
You have such a glow that I assumed you were late 20s, early 30s MAX. Keep doing what you're doing ❤
I am a whiner too. And sometimes I, when I find myself whining too much, I remind myself of these words from Lady Violet Grantham (from the Series Downton Abbey): “Edith, dear, you're a woman with a brain and reasonable ability. Stop whining and find something to do!“ ♥️
It’s never too late to start saving money!
Things to remember 🦋🦋🩶🩶 🦋🦋 1. Never miss twice 2. No one is coming to save you 3. Be the practitioner 4. Understanding the WHY 5. Get rid of shit - declutter 6. Say YES to things that are hard 7. Stop trying to be happy all the time, strive to be content 8. Stop being angry with the past version of yourself 9. Health is wealth I need to remember all of this 🥹
My wife died at 37, and my mother died in her 40s. Life is like a raindrop on a leaf, and all that. The trick is to give up wanting things and just do things. And stop arguing pointlessly on social media.
I am 32 and this video just gave me the reassurance that life is meant to embrace it, learning from mistakes and make the best of it.
I realized about 5 years ago that I needed to get started on decluttering. Now at 66 I have amassed an enclosed front porch full of stuff to downsize. I'm waiting for the estate co. to set it up. If you are lucky enough to realize why you purchase the things you do before 40, that is a big help. For me it was childhood issues of not enough toys, shoes, clothes. I lost weight at one point and cleaned out 13 bags of clothes from over buying stuff. I'm leaving the decor crap at the store and now not purchasing clothes anywhere near as much. Thank you for today's video lady, have a great weekend 🎉.
I’m 47, but still need to hear this stuff. These items are a perfect way to check in with yourself, and see where you need to make changes. Thanks for breaking it down in a doable and encouraging way! ❤
Decluttering is huge for me right now because we're moving in a couple of weeks, so getting rid of "stuff" feels so good! It feels like a weight being lifted off my shoulders. I feel like I always walk away from watching your videos with new tips and desire to put my thoughts into action, so thank you for your content! :)
"never miss twice" is also just the best way to stay "fit" and get off "diet" culture -- which is all I saw growing up! What you do most days outweighs what you do sometimes. And it's a much more stable happy way to live. Great tips as always !
I am 53 my 40s was one of the best seasons ever it is the decade I would redo over and over again. I will say the 50s are amazing so far.
Re: taking action instead of just talking about it.. I recently heard the phrase “bite off more than you can chew and learn to chew it”. Do it scared, do it embarrassed, do it even though it’s hard.. just do the thing. Because it might never seem like the “right time” or you might not be “ready”, but the time will pass anyways. Don’t wait to live your life! I just turned 34 and have been reckoning with that lately
But I'm 42... Happy Birthday ❤🎉
I've just turned 27. So glad I found your channel. You have genuinely helped me become more financially aware & responsible. Thank you!
I turned 40 this month... I think along with that milestone naturally comes a sense of urgency to "be about it" rather than just talk about it, like you said. Side note I've been watching your videos for a couple years and they have really informed and influenced me. Thanks!
Watching this has literally cured my fear of aging.
“There is no ‘try’.” 😁
I honestly couldn’t believe it, you literally look 30! You're such an inspiration, thank you for your videos!
40 is the greatest time of your life. You have yourself pretty much all figured out 🩷 and you still have a full tank of estrogen. During the next 10-15 years, your estrogen supply will go to near zero, every organ of your body will be affected, you will lose your identity, but you’ll be okay. I wish someone had told me this.
