I prefer the d pad being separated buttons. I get so many accidental button entries with a tilting hat dpad

No, they still didn’t have to do that. Just use the Dpad as buttons. No one is that stupid that they can’t figure out which buttons to push when using the joycons like that. This is why I like the switch lite. It has an actual dpad.

since I primarily played my Switch in handheld mode, I got a 3rd party left joy-con that had a d-pad. Pretty good. Though it lacked wireless and amiibo support, so it was handheld use only.
