2 hours and 4 minutes? Dude, I try to binge watch your complete channel, but at this pace... I'm already 46, I'm running out of time.
A 2hr gift to watch before bed, what a blessing
Two hour Astrum video on my day off?? You spoil us
Alex is my favorite YouTuber atm. His voice has overtaken neil degrasse Tyson as the definitive voice of space science.

I like to think somewhere out there in the Cosmos an advanced civilization has earths complete history on some alien Netflix with a alien David Attenborough narrating it
I'll take this in chunks, because it is a whole lot to take in for an old ignoramus. But just from the first 12 minutes, I can gather that not only am *I* a complete fluke -- a random spawn, if you will. But Earth in and of itself is a one in a [x] chance of happening. Kind of like the owl galaxy.
I like to imagine a young Earth had an alien observer that returns in present day and thinks "how the F did all that stuff get there?!"
Your work is absolutely awesome.
Suffering in many ways at this point in my life but these video's are the only way i can fall asleep this is perfect to relax to thank you again x
Off topic but I love your voice
One of my better days living, because of what my Father did in the U.S. Air Force I was able to See the very first Rocks that returned from the Moon by Apollo 11👍🏼👍🏼
Couldn’t find a good movie to watch for the life of me. Astrum saves the evening 🤓
10/10 visuals. Watching without sound, this video goes with every song.
Alex, I believe you made 4 of these videos. They are some of my favorites of all time. I love how you wove the aliens into the story as a nice literary foil. 👏👏👏👏.
Framing Earth's timeline through the eyes of visiting alien scientists is a brilliant narrative choice. It transforms abstract geological eras, moving from a toxic lava sphere and a Pale Orange Dot to a completely frozen Snowball Earth, into an engaging chronological journey that feels more like sci-fi than a history lesson.
12 mins ago and i just got on lunch… love you astrum!
Excellent summary! As a biologist and an amateur astronomer, I've known this in bits and pieces for years. Glad to see it synthesized into a story.
1:52:42 "however, it won't kill them all, there's still the C4"... well I can't unhear that
Changed the title from something something dinos to THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE EARTH IN ONE VIDEO. Interesting marketing.
