Over the past few decades, global temperatures have climbed steadily, breaking historical records and triggering extreme weather events all over the globe. From record-breaking heatwaves and devastating wildfires to melting polar ice caps and rising sea levels, the physical reality of our changing environment is becoming clearer every single day. Scientists across the world have tracked these shifts, warning that we are rapidly approaching irreversible thresholds. As massive ecosystems collapse and vulnerable communities face relocation, the pressure on global food systems and natural habitats continues to mount. Unchecking greenhouse gas emissions has accelerated these changes, pushing permafrost to thaw and unleashing potent gases into the atmosphere. Yet, the story is far from over. Groundbreaking innovations in solar and wind power, alongside cutting-edge carbon capture technologies and green transit solutions, offer a real path forward. Understanding the true scale of this crisis is the first step toward securing a stable future for the natural world and generations to come.

This came out in 2019. I've been hearing "we only have a few more years to avoid climate catastrophe" since I was in grade school over 20 years ago. The catastrophe is here, and it's man-made, and the corporations & governments that caused this crisis are still in power & drilling as fast as they can. The corporations & governments who caused this must be held accountable, and its justice that humanity must force upon them .This isn't about solar panels & windmills - it's about challenging the entire premise of global capitalism itself. A system that views a tree as nothing more than potential lumber or paper. The whole damn system is guilty. Without systemic change, our "civilization" stands no chance of survival from an unstable climate.
We are an infection, and the Earth is developing a fever!
The planet is already prepping to shake us off like so many fleas.
1.5 by 2040 and WERE THERE NOW
Youtube needs to post original air dates.
What cancer is to humans is what humans are to this planet.
The world is ruled by the richest people that live on it , and nothing major will change as long as THEY don't believe it will affect them.
God bless Sir David Attenborough!
We are doomed with all these billionaires that don't care about golbal warming all they care about is money no matter what happens to earth!!!!!
If the SCOTUS hadn’t stolen the 2000 election for Bush, imagine how much further along we would be in our fight
My wife says we’re destroying the planet, but I tell her we are destroying ourselves. The planet will go on fine long after we’ve burned ourselves off its surface.
Oh my god. Those beautiful little babies Bats. Human beings are the PLAGUE on the planet
I'm watching this in September 2026. We're done. Whatever needed to happen to adequately address climate change hasn't happened. We're done
Once it got to the dead bats, I had to shut off the video. This will obviously get worse and worse. Where I live, there are hardly any bats at dusk any more because idiots and towns spray pesticides indiscriminately to kill mosquitoes, which also basically kills everything. The bats don't have food to eat.
It doesn't matter what you believe, or think, or know or whether you are red, blue or purple, with climate change we will all suffer. Deny that.
Climate Change is not political, it's inevitable without common sense!
Born in the early 60's, a teenager in the 70's, raised a family from the late 80's to now retired in a small town and in my view I figure that my generation has lived in the best of times. It would be nice if the billionaires of the world stepped up and spend half their fortune to fix all this......do us all a solid will ya? Cheers from Bancroft Ontario.
We’ve passed our tipping point about 50 years ago. I’m 66 years old and I’ve seen how much New England has changed.. I’ve lived outside almost all the time. 4 seasons. It upsets me so much that I can’t even say anything else. Unfortunately we are done. I can’t even imagine how a genius could pull us out of this. 😢
2:10 Round up the 5000 billionaires that are the root cause of this problem. That is the only place to start.
I cannot watch this… just so much collective suffering. We are loosing so much to greed. We need to wake up to the reality we have at hand.
