you should be able to sail on someone elses boat to get the dragon keel BUT you have to convince a complete stranger in game who doesn't even know about your channel to sail you there because that would be really fun to watch and would be the sort of thing people would have to do if this was an official mode
I definitely think sailing with a friend for the unlock is within the spirit of the account. Nothing wrong with it as you're still a man of the sea!

I think that stowing away on other boats as a pirate/sailor is pretty common. I don't see why Dock Johnson wouldn't turn into pirate Johnson for a trip or two!
Counter point - in McTile you called upon J1mmy to help with Pest Control. In Swampletics you called upon the community at large for finding dragon implings, and also called upon other content creators for Theater of Blood. Getting on another boat isn't that much different, and no series suffered for calling for any aid.
Defenitely do the friends thing to get the scematic. It's an MMO after all. I also think it is in the spirit of the account: get everything you can while not leaving the sea or docks, which this totally adheres to.

4:40 If you can't rely on Nakama, what's the point of setting sails on the Grand Line? If you get the parts and level and do a sick animation/storyline, I don't see the issue.
I feel like this account should always have access to all sailing related content. I would even be okay with you grinding out the 20 quests, then dropping the quest loot if any, and continue the adventure 🔥 sailing with a friend is also cool

Getting someone to sail you to the island feels within the spirit of the account as long as you have all the items to make it first and it's treated as a one time exception, rather than a constant cheese method. It's more in spirit to have someone sail you than it is to do all those quests and spend so much time on land as an exception to do it yourself.
Regarding the dragon keel parts. I feel like if there is a way in the game that isn't a genuine glitch to get something done, I don't see how that would be an issue. There are so many things locked from your account, accessing an island that you have unlocked the level for is fine imo.

4:47 I would say if it opens a whole lot of content and more potential goals then go for it. You are still sailing so you aren't really breaking your own rules but ultimately it's up to you. If you feel like it's cheating then I wouldn't do it.
As a long time viewer, I KNOW you aren't scared of a grind or doing things the hard way. With that being said, I feel the account should have access to ALL THINGS SAILING. That's the point. To explore the oceans and all they have to offer. How you get to the decision is fine by me, but I want to see Dock Johnson on every island in the seas! Much love brother! IMO can dock's johnson's journey really be considered done unless he has a maxed out boat? I vote for letting you board other people's boats to get to islands to unlock all the needed boat schematics for a maxed out boat.
