So glad to see Kevin smiling and joking around. Hope all is well with you and your health! You have all of us rooting for you Kevin!
Fun fact: if you have a citrus press (I'm sure you do with the citrus hedge and all) you can press pomegranates the same way and get fresh pom juice 😁
Such a cliff hanger... geez! Highly anticipating the video update on the garden. Love the red/purple/maroon harvest!
"That was too far" ...leaves it in the edit.🤣
The red snapping electricity effects that you use to light up the guys are so funny, gives me a giggle every time (especially since the hilarious spicy pepper video) - excellent editing!! 🎯😁
The Starbucks Dragonfruit refresher has no dragonfruit in it beyond the fruit pieces. The juice base is like grape juice and other stuff. Look at the ingredients in the app
Jacques's hit damage graphic is splendiferous haha
Harvest color: "What a maroon!" Kevin and Jacques, I hope you will continue to be neighbors. Kevin, thank you for the journey you have taken us on with you in this homestead. You have given us so many ideas for what to do with our space! Jacques, you are an amazing, grounded counterpart to Kevin's mania. You two are an amazing and complementary pair of hosts.
Don’t leave us hanging like that EriC lol
Pomegranate skins make a great dye, and produce yellows, tans, and browns as they are very high in natural tannins. Pomegranate juice, like beet juice, is a good food dye for cooking, but is actually “fugitive” meaning they do not make good permanent dyes for clothing as they break down rapidly with washing and exposure to sunlight.
Make pomegranate jelly. It's really easy...
Seeing your sweet potato harvest is really making me antsy for mine. Just a few weeks away!
how are you not going to give us a dragon fruit sampling?
Watching your final harvest feels like closing a deeply cherished chapter, capturing both the bitter ache of letting go and the quiet beauty of a season well-loved. It is a poignant reminder that every ending leaves behind rich memories, proving that what we nurture in our hearts truly never fades.
I am so glad I found you guys and got into gardening. It's not just making me healthier physically but after finding out I'm celiac, it's proving to be more important for me than ever. I'm hoping to grow rice and broom or next year as well as millet. I'm also harvesting celosia seeds as a pseudo cereal. Thank you all for your hard work. 💚💚
I harvested too because frost came after a light rain and a full moon in zone 3. OMG -- Are you going to plant in rows?? Building a giant green house?? Excited to see what's in store next! Have fun processing all of the fruits of your labour, boys!
