I played on a 120hz monitor for 2 WHOLE YEARS before realizing I had to manually get it from 60 to 120... I still cringe when I think about it. It was my first actual pc, though. Only had gaming laptops before, as I was traveling a lot working seasons left and right

Yes, this video is a remake! The original one came out almost 3 years ago now. Just a friendly reminder to check your refresh rate to make sure the highest possible is selected. This can even default back to 60Hz after certain Windows updates, so it never hurts to routinely check!

I had a friend do this. I told him he should get a higher refresh rate monitor, he listened, got a nice 144hz display. One day i asked him if it felt smoother and he said "yeah, but I don't think it was worth the upgrade". Turns out, he had his refresh rate in windows settings set to 60hz.
