just btw, i requested to be put under anesthesia for both my iud insertions due to anxiety and they were able to do that! i had to go to the hospital for it but im so glad i did it that way and all the OR nurses said this was the “right move” haha. just fyi!!!
I had the copper IUD and only my first few periods were awful. BUT it did fall out without my knowledge and I got pregnant 🙂
my parents got divorced when I was 6 years old. they co-parented so well together that I literally never noticed. They were happy apart and all I knew was that I had 2 of everything! I’m 28 now, and I have literally no trauma or resentment towards them at all. I love my parents and I’m always thankful they kept everything civil and put me first! When I had the arm one it made me gain weight BAD. So did the mirena. I have the skylar now and it's awesome it's for 8 years and I've had it in for 4 years I lost all that weight in MONTHS. It stopped my periods but I didn't have heavy periods to begin with. My skin is better. I love it
I had the copper iud. I ended up getting it removed after 2 years because of the pain and heavy bleeding. Ended up getting the Kyleena iud and I like it much more
