The PS5 gets a new update today for all PS5 base consoles. QSSR (quick super spectral resolution) will make games look even better. Not quite there with PSSR on the PS5 Pro, but we're getting close.

Hopefully gran turismo 7 vr and no mans sky vr get a resolution boost for the base ps5, I know the ps5 pro has PSSR so QSSR could be great for the base ps5.

I tested it in the new Wolverine game. Before the QSSR, some of the hair and little details in the background seemed to be a bit pixilated or have random dots. But when I turned this setting on, they all got smooth.

This is wonderful!🥳 I have a base ps5 so this is a very nice touch. Hope it adds to PSVR2 as well. EDIT: Yes, I tried Wolverine and the QSSR is there, IT'S THERE. Looks amazing & crisp! Thanks PlayStation 😎

I like this because some games you would not need the PS5 pro because the PS5 slim and Base will have a Graphical Boost to get a bit closer to the Pro
