It's called "manufacturing consent", you see we have companies that are looking to IPO. These companies have zero moat and their founders want to become billionares, so they're working with the government & other companies, to make it look like their servers got hacked to pass laws that are known as "regatory capture". That way these IPO CEOs can't be upstaged by open source models that literally months behind their bleeding edge AI software. They don't want somebody to locally host AI on their computers, like they're running Microsoft Word Spell check, and they don't want other companies to cause their stock prices to collapse by releasing better software than their own.
It wasn't me that shot you or my gun. It was a bullet with misalligned objectives.

Ai slop is getting sloppy
It is a proven fact that all the big AI companies like OpenAI and Meta stole billions of dollars of copyrighted books, movies, etc. This is the largest coordinated barrage of theft in human history. And, also, they've engaged in other felonies such as breaking into government websites. It doesn't even matter if some "rogue AI" did it under their watch. If I hand a child a gun and tell them to go play around the neighborhood, I'm guilty of a vast number of crimes, and responsible for all the crimes commited. But magically, Sam and Dario do it, Wall Street hands them $1Trillion. This is oligarchy on a level the world hasn't seen since the heyday of the USSR.
