The roger rabbit is an awesome detail... its The Dip!!!!
I love the Roger Rabbit sitting at the edge. Nice reference.
Roger Rabbit on the tank made me smile, I got the joke lol
In 65 my bro inlaws dad bought a Mustang brand new out of the showroom window. FF to 1978 his stepdad ran a magnet over the body before a repaint. The entire rear quarter panel was filler right from the factory.
That is the right way to do that
When i was in collision repair in high school this was not something we were taught to even expect as part of the industry. We had paint strippers yes but never in my life would i have imagined dipping an entire frame in the stuff and saving hours of carpel tunnel inducing da sanding 😂
Paints just falling off the bone
Had a 65 Mercury Cyclone. It was a monster.
Had a neighbor that had one of those. That thing was a barebones hot rod. This would have been the early 2000s and I always knew when he was going by the house because the windows vibrated from the engine
That is a crazy amount of paint thinner.
If you put it into a paint stripper why wouldn't you expected to strip the paint to come off
Roger Rabbit is just as curious as us about this one!
That liquid looks like Santa Monica’s beach water.
who the F has such a huge vat of acid you can put your entire car under? well yes, this guy but damn that is a lot of chemical.
We had a 64.5 Mustang GT coupe, beautiful red with 289 4bbl and automatic. Was amazing car ... TOTAL bondo though, probably 200 pounds of the stuff all over the car, what a mess. No one could get it back to "normal", so we sold it ... sad. This was back in the early 80's.
Would love to have seen the shell after jet wash
Wow a 60's Mustang it a floor pan, must have be replace before. Seen mustangs come out of the dip with half the car dissolved away, paint was the only thing keeping the rust held together.
Pure steel ❤
Looking better right out of the tank than any of the junk Ford has knocked out in the past 5-10 years.
