As a kid, I thought my parents literally couldn’t throw away my iPod because of the crossed-out trash can symbol on the back 😂 Turns out that symbol doesn’t mean what I thought it did. If you grew up with an iPod Touch, old Apple products, or early 2010s tech, you’ll remember this.

Supercell max volume is canon event
Luckily now COC can turn off the sound directly from the settings😂
This icon is the WEEE symbol (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), and it means that the device or its battery cannot be thrown into regular household trash. Because tech gadgets contain sensitive electronics, heavy metals, or lithium-ion batteries, disposing of them in standard garbage bins creates a severe environmental hazard and a high risk of landfill fires so yea and pls like it took me about 2 mins.
Most relatable story of all the kids back then . That full volume intro was horror for each of us
When I was 2 my big bro says don’t throw this to trash instead you should give it to Someone to play 🥀😭
I think it was because that most phones contaimed flamable stuff such as the battery.. They could burn a lot of stuff at the "Trash Junkyard"
And then they recycle it 😢
i always read these signs but never follow it 😜
Thing is, if u bought it, they have no right to throw it away
When I was a wee little one, I used to have a toy car with that symbol on it. My sisters convinced me that it meant “no bad gas”… I stuck to that for years until my parents revealed the truth.
So you cant throw trash to trash? Btw this applies to every other iphone
According to him hes right its illegal to throw egadgets
Rookie mistake
I remember playing coc during class and this happened to me, luckily the teacher didn't hear or maybe just ignored it
Parent: Oh. Well then I'm gonna sell it on eBay.
Bro, I used to think that meant no phones allowed because it looks like a phone to me instead of a garbage can
This might be out of context. But I remember when my Uncle gifted my an ipod touch 3rd gen and I loved it wasn't much of a music listener except few bollywood songs but played like a million game like doodle jump, hill climb racer and angry birds. One day my mother took it away and when I asked where it is she said she already gave me back. After that almost 10 years later I found it in a cupboard totally fried and showed to repair guy near and he broke it more. 😢😢

What it means is you did not throw it in the trash because bad things will happen
The problem is even in Europe many countries do not actually have a proper disposal management so everything goes into one bin unfortunately
