Tsutomu Yamaguchi survived both atomic bombs, and almost nobody knows his name. ποΈ On August 6th, 1945, Yamaguchi was in Hiroshima on a business trip when the first atomic bomb exploded just over two miles away. He was burned, temporarily blinded, and his eardrums were ruptured. He still made it onto a train and went home to Nagasaki. Three days later, he told his boss what he had seen: one bomb that destroyed an entire city. His boss didn't believe him. Then the second bomb hit. Yamaguchi survived that one too, and lived to be 93. Follow for more untold stories history forgot. #shorts #History #UntoldStories #WW2 #Hiroshima #Nagasaki
