It's impressive but... I think this feature should've been separated from DLSS entirely, as it no longer serves the same purpose as DLSS originally.
It doesn't look real at all, it looks like animated AI video.
The main problem of the games is ANIMATIONS, not graphics.

Honestly the closer we get to real, the less I feel myself wanting it. I think art styles, at least the things that caught my attention recently is just so much better looking in my personal opinion. Hades and Hades 2, PoE 2, TF2 and rimworld just a few examples of what i think looks amazing but not where close to real.
My biggest issue with (singleplayer) games has always been animations. No matter how good the lighting is, no matter how detailed the textures are, animation is always the one that takes me out of the experience. This just makes it even more apparent. To me the still frames are unbelievably realistic, then I unpause the video and the immersion is ruined. The two things in video games I wish got a 100x better are physics (destruction specifically) and animations.

All i can think of everytime dlss 5 is talked about is, its just a filter...
Hardware unboxed has much more realistic take going over all the downsides of DLSS 5, and there's a lot of them.
Second downside of dlss 5 is it breaks illusion when it comes to animaitons like a human model.
