About my Naked and Afraid Death

its SUCH an unfortunate death man. i still find it silly how they have the ban rule for this season when all the camp leaders screwed over their own team

Rekrap is what got me into naked and afraid seasons not gonna be the same

It’s so refreshing hearing a creator say that from a content perspective in terms of Naked & Afraid specifically the betrayal was bad for the series. Like this would’ve worked wonderfully for like Life Steal as Rek said, just not here

Was expecting a video about “the series is fine, it’s unscripted so anything could happen,” but I was pleasantly surprised to see that rekrap knows the series and playstyles present had major flaws. This kind of accountability might help next season be a drastic improvement over this one! Just hope they reverse the ban rule so rek is allowed in lol.

I think It's a really bad idea for the only admin that can make decisions to be playing in the event. There should be a dedicated admin to take action if things get taken too far.

Naked and Betrayed could totally work, if it was a built in mechanic. The reason the betrayal didn't work is because it was not talked about, and completely antithetical to the goals of this season. Not because the series must inherently be about teamwork. The reason Clown and 4C felt the need to do something like this is because the series, on it's own, is just not interesting enough for making content. It works on the rekrap channel but I think that's very unique to this audience. This is the very thing I was trying to solve when I suggested the idea for a betrayal mechanic, and it's something I've been saying since S1. Others clearly came to the same conclusion I did, but they took it upon themselves to spice things up instead of planning it out as a group.

something ive also seen other people point out is that by having the first 5 deaths out for the next series it incentivizes base leaders to do everything in their power to keep themselves alive as to make it to the next season

I just hope Jojo's suggestion of not certain banning for naked and afraid is implemented

I really hope they revoke that ban rule. I've legit not seen a single reason yet as to how it makes sense

Critical oversight is very spot on. I agree so strongly that betrayal is not the move for the series. Co-op is so uniquely cool. That's where NA shines!

It's fascinating to see how dedicated naked and afraid is to the stakes... to the point it sabotages its own popularity. It's like the opposite of the life series, where it's arguably too safe and almost entirely for content, where as naked and afraid as it is now is antithetical for content creators. I feel like there should be an agreeable in-between.

Dawg this gotta be the worst Naked and Afraid Season, 3 episodes of running around and then just death, idk what Clown and others were really thinking, this wasnt entertaining at all

Thank you for actually acknowledging that naked and afraid is supposed to be a cooperative smp rather than something like lifesteal smp. I love the series since its a high stakes server but the players are helping each other. The start was actually fun but it did went on for way too long (prob wont be long if the base team actually helped). I do hope the next season comes back around to being the naked and afraid like season 1. also lol at the end
