I stand to be corrected. For anyone wondering, the cameraman who got struck by the rally car (second crash) actually SURVIVED. His name is Pablo Carrizo, and this happened during the 2024 Tucumán Rally in Argentina. Contemporary reports identified Carrizo as the only person injured by the car. He suffered leg injuries and a dislocated knee, was taken to the hospital, and was later discharged after observation. I’ve seen comments claiming another woman fractured her knee while escaping the car, but I haven’t found reliable reporting confirming a second injured person. The impact looks absolutely horrific, but thankfully Pablo lived.

Canadian here... I could NEVER understand why spectators set up camp "in the line of fire". After a crash occurs, so many people are shocked at the aftermath! Just like the running of the bulls.... "OMG... some people were badly gored!".
