Lydia, measure back to front of the wardrobe inside. Half the measurement to get the centre line. Then measure maybe 2 inch ( or what you require) from the top. Where the lines cross is where you want to drill and fix your 1st bracket. Then repeat on the other side, drop in the rail and hey presto. Happy Lydia 👍👍 If you need anymore help. Maybe use a shower curtain tension rod for the closet that didn't have its rail installed, super easy to install no drilling but not certain how much weight it could hold.
