nothing strange is happening to apple. they noticed everyone else is enshitifying, charging more and getting away with it, so why not join the club.
I've had the iPhone 15 pro for over 2 years now and I've never had issues with the battery. It's also never overheated in a UK heatwave or even in the Florida summer heat. I'm planning on keeping this phone as long as I can because I've had zero issues with it.
Just got a new battery for my five year old iPhone 13 Pro Max and it feels like brand new again. Don't need to spend €1500 on device that does the same tasks that my current device already does lol

To be fair notion bleeds battery life in terrible, the app is so poorly optimised it is insane
I have an iPhone SE 3, which will probably be my last iPhone, because I hate everything they’ve made since. It has a Home button and Touch ID instead of Face ID, it has a negligible camera bump, and it’s small enough to fit in my pocket and use one-handed. The fact that it won’t run most of the new AI slop is its best feature. I’ll replace the battery when it gets to that point. I don’t like Android at all, so I’m kinda fscked.

Omg I have a iPhone 16 pro and live in Arizona - I basically cannot use my phone while outside, and for most of the year the phone gets so hot and throttled that the phone stays too overheated to use even after I get to my car, just from walking from a building to my car (not even like hiking or extended periods of time outside). For a good half of the year, I have to sit in my car for 5 minutes holding my phone up to the blasting AC vent in order to be able use Maps or listen to music. Plus the battery life is ridiculously bad! I have to charge my phone like 3 times a day 🤡
