Regarding Sanju Samson, I don't think we can simply blame the selectors for not giving him enough chances. He has actually received multiple opportunities, including some very important ones, but unfortunately, he hasn't been able to utilize them consistently. The Asian Games final, especially, was disappointing. His wicketkeeping and fielding were below the standard expected at that level, and those areas need significant improvement. I genuinely support Sanju and always want to see him succeed. But at the same time, we have to be honest about his performances. Talent alone is not enough at the international level—he needs to make the most of the opportunities he gets and improve his consistency, wicketkeeping, and fielding. Otherwise, it will become increasingly difficult for him to get more opportunities, especially with strong competition for places in the Indian team.
