yes yes, everbody already moving to Mac or Linux, now it's gonna even be faster
How can I delete copilot
"Deeply integrated in Windows 11" - They actually think that's what most users want...
I find the clapping funny.
$2,599 is only the starting price for the Surface Laptop Ultra with the smaller N1X chip (18-core CPU / 5,120-core GPU), 24 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD; for a 128 GB memory comparison with DGX Spark, the Surface costs $5,899.99 with the larger N1X chip (20-core CPU / 6,144-core GPU) and a 1 TB SSD. US configurations: 24 GB / 512 GB — $2,599.99 24 GB / 1 TB — $2,999.99 32 GB / 1 TB — $3,299.99 32 GB / 1 TB, larger chip — $3,699.99 48 GB / 1 TB, larger chip — $3,999.99 64 GB / 1 TB, larger chip — $4,299.99 64 GB / 2 TB, larger chip — $4,699.99 128 GB / 1 TB, larger chip — $5,899.99 The larger chip has 11% more CPU cores and 20% more GPU cores. Actual performance gains depend on the workload.
This is going to flop hard at that price.
I will still buy macbook
Microsoft became an Indian company.
I've never been so disappointed in my life, you'd be forgiven for confusing this with an openAi keynote... They should have just called this the Copilot Event and then held a separate Windows Event later for actual OS innovations. Thank God we still have Linux to fall back on.
Most keynote in 2026 is just selling to Businesses, the average customer is left out
my bet is search still wont work
At this point, a real selling point would be a way to delete Copilot altogether. If Microsoft would come out and announce that when setting up your new PC, you can choose wether you want Copilot or not.
Too f. expensive
watching this on Ubuntu
its incredible how absolutely nothing microsoft says or does would convince me to move back to a windows based laptop. literally the only thing they have going for them is nvidia gpus and gaming. the entire presentation feels like my corporate IT department talking down to me about how i am going to love the future they've decided is best for me.
I was honestly put off by all of the industry talk at the beginning; I'm just a consumer. But the more capable Windows search bar and Copilot app sound pretty interesting. Plus that Windows Surface Ultra sounds cool! It might be too much power for me, but maybe I'll get one so I have room to grow, lol.
I THINK microsoft should bring windows phone back as now making apps is going to be easy to build its app store
Funny how Microsoft now seems to be a company from India.
