The curse of oak island Harley edition
Leaving that charging alone overnight??? Wow that was not smart and very lucky didnt burn his place down.
Y'all are doing more than y'all may realize. You guys are giving information that most of us would not have the money or resources to teardown this bike if we want to work on it ourselves. Most anyone that is will to work on something like this. Are quite aware of the dangers from the power and know how to deal with it. So, thank you all for taking the steps forward to figure out it all works and sharing with the world to have access to.
Has nobody noticed his ACDC shirt. Right on point.
I can’t wait for part 100 when the bike finally moves under its own power for the first time in 8 years
No cow has been milked in this universe more than this $3000 bike has been in this series
Never ending episode
Incredibly lucky brother didnt burn his shop down.
I think you should stand around and talk more about knobs, resistance, home depot, and light bulbs while the overcharged module sits there. Outside. Still overcharged.
Im stunned as a qualified electronic engineer I can categorically state those cells should NEVER be left unattended as it must be treated as unknown/experimental
That EV guy is talking like he's designing some kind of nuclear space ship ... he's just charging a battery pack with a balancer. And then he even messes up and overcharges it ...
Wow I hope this series never ends! Maybe next week they can talk for 45 minutes about putting the bike back together, and then rehash the whole light bulb saga...
Chip seems like an enthusiast that made a business out of his passion. I can respect that. Mistakes happen.
ahhhh my favourite weekly series
next we replace the tires, and we have an hour long video about tire presure...
This sounds like a setup for clicks! But I fell for it. Love watching this work on this bike
2:45 we in the R/C racing scene been doing this for decades on all battery chemistry, yes cool, not a new uncommon use, just bigger
I used wires and light bulb to balance my prius cells to the same charge 10 years ago. After you think it's the same, let them sit for a couple hours and go back and repeat till they are the same after resting a couple hours. Can't wait for you to get this running!
The whole episode can be squished into 'we overcharged a battery module and then drained it using lightbulbs'.
Sean's making lots of money stretching this out. Make sure to repeat yourself so we can get another 5 episodes lol!
