You don't have to ship shoes in boxes. Trust me. I have been buying off eBay for years, to the tune of over 500 items. I get shoes wrapped in plastic and put in a mailing envelope all of the time. If they are delicate, you can always wrap them in bubble wrap and mail them that way. Just disclose in the listing that you no longer have the box. You should not be losing money unless that is your intention.
