i think they could do so much with ODST. omg. imagine a 18+ odst themed horror game.
I don't know where they'll take Halo from here but I'm just glad that it's no longer in the hands of 343/Halo Studios. even if Activision screws up it won't change a thing because Halo is already in the gutters.
1) Halo / Master Chief series stopped at the end of Halo 3. No remakes. 2) Halo: Orion Project. You are one the experimental candidate of the Orion Project alongside a much younger A. Johnson. Do Spec Ops missions alongside ODST during the later years of the Insurrection Wars. Ending at the planet Harvest invasion. 3) Another ODST campaign series revolving around the later years of the Insurrection wars going into the Covenant invasion.

I got into halo way after bungie stopped making halo, but every Halo fan that was convincing me to pick it up only ever sold me the original trilogy+reach. So while I consider myself a big Halo fan, I have basically no attachment to anything after reach. In my eyes, the best option is to assume a lot of newer fans have this experience and just ignore everything after 3, start fresh.
