You've reached the end
Almost got happy when he said things were finally back to normal😢
Bro gave me false hope again .
"things are finally normal again" 'No they are not"
A collective "giving up" and letting AI bros win. Edit: It would appear my use the word 'retailers' has rustled some jimmies. I happen to agree with the bothered folk upon considering my word choice, so I changed it to the one I meant.
Are PC builders spending way more money these days? Or are they sacrificing other components to hit 32GB of RAM?
It's because of Chinese holidays iirc, and a lot of Chinese gaming cafes use 5070s and 5060 Tis, and since they're more active they're participating in the Steam surveys more. You can see this based off the fact Chinese increased almost 8% in device language as well.
I think these people bought their 32GB sticks before RAMmageddon.
32 gigs is the ideal, and I don't think people want to wait 2-3 years for prices to drop to a "semi-normal" level
the way I see it is that PC building has become so expensive that people are now having the mindset of "i might as well spend all this money and future proof my PC so I wont have to worry about it for many years to come"
It’s either pay 500 now or 1000 later.
If I'm going to overpay, might as well cash out and get 32GB and not suffer with 16 for years until things "might" get normal again. Bought 32GB for new build this year in February, spent 350$. I couldn't wait any more with my i7 4770K on 16GB of DDR3 I bet a lot of people have the same thought process when building themselves
We should go raid all of the ram factorys and steal the ram
It's simple, really. People are thinking if they don't get their hands on good ram & gpus now, they'll never get a chance in the future.
Almost got happy when he said things were finally back to normal😢 ....
6 mins................ Papa zach almost got me to buy my dream pc with this news
Looking at title, I was hoping that he would say that RAM prices are back to normal and not the Steam survey
just because people are buying more wam doesn't mean wam is getting cheaper 😔
This is ultimate clickbait
People are buying rams now those who can because they know in future its going to be worse
Microcenter is carrying for sure Edit: also Zach you really had me with the title
