30:18 - about the generator, I saw people in Alaska build small boxes for the generator (with foam insulation inside). It helps to reduce the noise and also during really cold winters it helps to keep the generator a bit warmer (I am not sure, but I think that if it is too cold, the generator will be less efficient). You need to keep a small opening though, so that exhaust gases can escape out.

Fin your chimney needs to be taller to prevent that backdraft. Northerner here who grew up with only a wood stove for heat: that chimney needs adequate height…typically at least 3 ft above the roof peak. Too short chimneys are more prone to downdrafts and poor draft, especially with wind and temperature changes, which can push smoke and carbon monoxide back inside. Stay safe. Looks amazing!
