I have the best labor story. I was at the IRS in Philadelphia representing someone at their audit. I spent 3 hours leaning forward sitting on a chair and when I stood up I could tell the baby was like a foot lower than when I sat down. This was my 3rd baby in 1981. Back then no cell phones, so I walked to the parking lot drove to my sisters, where my other children were, and called my husband from there. Then I think I drove myself to the hospital and met him there, he stopped at home and got the bag. Crazy to think about it now but this course of action seemed perfectly fine then.

The day I had my Katie, I leaned the house like crazy, baked and apple pie and invited ou friends for dinner. Right after they left, I was cleaning up the kitchen and scrubbing my stove...bam!!! In labor! 🤩🙏💗

I can't wait to meet Classy! 😊 My first was 10 days late (I had an appointment to be induced 2 days later). Around 9 am I started feeling uncomfortable so I called out from work and did some walking most of the day. We went to the hospital around midnight when the pain started getting more intense and he was born at 7:30 am. I was the greatest experience of my life. The love you feel towards your new baby is like nothing else. You will do wonderfully!
My prediction was for Oct. 12th. That's tomorrow!! My prayers for a safe, healthy delivery. Excited to see baby girl. 💖💖💖💖
