If they put 24GB on 5080, count on them being absorbed for inference and the same pricing story play out

You calling the 5090 a workstation gpu and not a gaming gpu, then removing it from your charts and comparisons was crazy foreshadowing
game studios : you need an RTX5090 to run our game at 4K60fps with max settings. graphic card company: we will stop making RTX5090 cards.
It was discontinued for gamers since launch. I refuse to normalise paying over 1000 bucks for GPUs.
I wasn't going to buy a 5090 at £2,000 and I certainly will NEVER buy one at £4,500!! EDIT: £5,400 now.
Classic artificial scarcity tactic. Leaking "discontinuation" rumours just triggers FOMO to clear stock and panic-buy remaining units. Even if Nvidia redirects GB202 silicon exclusively to the RTX Pro line right now, they can pivot those dies back to GeForce the second demand or margins dictate. Pure marketing manipulation.
We lost affordable computing hardware and gained AI slop in return. I'm sure Nvidia considers this a fair trade.
Nvidia finally realized the 5090 power connectors are faulty. It cannot be fixed.
If it's 6000 USD it's already functionally discontinued. Just buy 9070xt and call it a day. Edit: I'm not your father, it's your money, but if you spend used car money on a gpu, I also have a bridge to sell you.
I'll continue to rock my 9060 XT and care as little as before.
Oh no, now I can't buy the $2000 GPU that costs $6000 anymore. Shame.
