I dont think anyone who dailys a manual forget to leave the car in gear and the handbreak/e break engaged, as someone whos new to manual with a 2013 mazda 3, as soon as I park my handbrake is pulled motor off and put into reverse (incase it somehow moves at all when i start it there is nothing behind me.)
