Why isn’t the wall mount version that doesn’t have the big speaker less money. Wall mount doesn’t come with power adapter, cable or speaker and is the same price smh

Apple really seems to be trying to bring back the big bezels as a trend.

Why was this not a bigger deal than just a press release!?

For the price not bad. But why the super thick bezels? Maybe to keep costs down? I think next year they'll release a new one with slimmer bezels just for the sake of profit $$$

After watching the trailer, I think the whole point is the single-layer design. It seems like the key to making the whole experience simpler and more streamlined. The biggest question mark is the pricing, though, and I’m curious to see how the speaker actually performs.

Definitely not. This product is pointless. It doesn’t solve any issues and is redundant to my iPhone, Apple Watch, and iPad. It feels like Apple is just trying to throw anything against the wall to see what sticks.

I'm an apple fanboy but what are even the point of those ? What do they do better than the iPhone, cause I ain't getting up of my couch just to change the temperature when I have my iPhone in my pocket? A public screen in the house that will get smudged by everyone's hand , wow genius.

Seems like a privacy nightmare. I don’t have a thermostat and my phone is with me at all times. Why would I get up off the couch to walk to an iPad so I can change the lights or AC when I can do it with my phone It’s just an iPad with a speaker, yeah?
