After digging through Apple's official technical specifications, press releases, and fine print, I found a bunch of hidden features, surprising limitations, and important differences that Apple barely mentioned. In this video, we're taking a closer look at everything Apple left out, including the real cost of HomeView, differences between the tabletop and wall-mounted models, hidden features like Safari, Siri AI compatibility with older Apple TVs, HomePod mini 2 upgrades, and even some interesting details about Apple's plans for paid AI features. Whether you're planning to buy the new HomeView, upgrade your Apple TV 4K, or pick up a HomePod mini 2, there are definitely some things you should know before spending your money. I was waiting for the new Apple TV 4K. I’m sad I did…
Today it was a bad apple event 😢
Looks like my wait for the AppleTV was for nothing. I’ll be buying the old version.
I feel like Apple is kind of lost
Horrible product release. Prices are obscene, features are redundant or useless. What is going on??
So odd they would be same price when a big hardware piece is missing from wall mount version.
No more ai generated photos in your videos! It’s so bad.
Apple TV for $299? They should just make it $2999. The chances of me buying it are the same. Insane. And I love Apple. But this just too much.
Wait, so you’re telling me i need to my have my iphone close by and recently unlocked to use the homeview with my personal data? Gee its almost like i should just use my iphone…
Still no lossless audio passthrough for Apple TV? Disappointing
Keep in mind, these are basically two-year-old products that have been sitting in warehouses waiting for Apple Intelligence to actually become a thing. That’s why Ternus couldn’t just kill them.
Big disconnect between the regular consumer and Apple.
It's good to know that my Apple TV 4k 1st Gen from 2017 is almost the same as the new one but with the added benefit of no AI
Oof. This is bad. What's happening to Apple?
It's sad seeing what 9to5mac has turned into using AI slop
I was excited for the the Apple TV and HomeView, but now not so much.
Did apple just release another ipad with less function? Why not just let the iPad do the same job
They should have made 2 different Apple TV
Two words, Underwhelming and Expensive!
Nothing of this makes any sense. Was hoping for a refreshed home app for iOS.
