Yeah if you show this to authorities they would likely keep her off the streets. Some would say you dont wanna take away someone's independence but you also dont want her or someone else to get hurt or killed. It happened to my grandma after hitting parked cars a couple of times they took her license away. They should probably make it a stipulation at a certain age you must show you still have the ability to drive not wait for an accident before stepping in.

This is my father right now. He's at that age where he doesn't realize he drives like shit. And I keep telling him you need to pay attention more or you're not going to be driving anymore.

There are a significant minority of drivers who simply can't see...you would be terrified to learn how bad your vision can be and yet you will still pass an eye test for a driver's license.

Just over a year ago this same thing happened to me. A 90 year old man turned right in front of me while I was doing the speed limit of 45mph. I turned left to go behind him and just clipped his bumper. He told the police I was speeding and stuff. It threw me down so hard I broke my left arm, left shoulder, left knee, right wrist. I’m still cooked from it and will never be the same. My right wrist doesn’t move now so I would need a thumb throttle to ride. The guy told the police I was speeding doing 80-100 mph. Once I got a lawyer he admitted he never seen me. Glad you’re ok. No matter how good or safe we ride we could just be at the wrong place at the right time.
