A company claimed its glue can instantly bond two cinder blocks, hold over 1,000 pounds, and even keep a whole 4x4 together during off-roading. It hyped the product so much that two engineering professors decided to put every claim to the test. They started with the cinder blocks, just like in the commercial. A bodybuilder tried to lift them, but the blocks fell apart. So they tried again with more glue and more pressure, and this time the blocks held. Next came the 1,000 pound test. They glued two wooden blocks together, let the glue dry for 7 days, and the bond supported the full weight. But the final test was the one that really mattered. They glued a 4x4 together exactly like in the commercial, and at first, it looked like the ad was telling the truth. Then they took it to an off-road track and pushed it harder, and the glued parts snapped off. The glue was strong, but never as strong as the commercial promised. π₯ #Glue #ProductTest #Experiment #Engineering #4x4 #Viral #Shorts Fair Use Disclaimer This video is for educational and transformative purposes, falling under the Fair Use Doctrine (17 U.S.C. You cannot convince me this product is falsely advertising when it did the 1000lbs you probably messed up gluing the kart
Bro be grateful it held a thousand fucking pounds
bro, they literally made a whole boat out of it
U glued the outside like what do u expect this ain't weld class π
ORRRR they juat didnt glue it right
It didnβt work cuz they used a go kart and not a buggy a buggy absorbs more stress with the shocks and the go kart does nothing
Omg at least it supported 1000 pounds hell nah bc when you glue 4x4 it snakes so much and so many frequencies it causes the glue to go and shake back and forth
Engineering students? While they glued it so fucking wrong, used the wrong buggy in which doesnt have that good of shocks like the one in the commercial so the frame absorbed the impact. Fucking whoaπ
Engineering professors? Yeah sure
Convinced me itβs a damn good glue, as long as you donβt glue a OFF ROAD vehicle π€¨πππ
They didnβt let it dry
Seems the ford have other supportsπ
not a 4x4
But the body of the go-kart still held together. It's just those two points, which means you probably did not put enough glue on those two points. If it was because the glue wasn't strong enough, a place at the bottom or towards the wheel would probably be the first one to break off, not at the top that is holding zero weight.
Itβs literally a customer problem. She didnβt put enough glue where it was needed because if you can hold 1000 pounds to get clearly two pieces of metal together.π
It literally keeps storm chaser safe like this person is on crack
throwing any glue on something then immediately pulling it apart will make it appear to not work
They didn't even let it dry on the cinder blocks. I swear, they are some of the worst liars on television
For anyone thats wondering its elmers glue
Man the 4x4 has suspension which absorb the some of the pot holes but engineers does so at the rough terrain it snap in pieces
