East Bengal suffered heartbreak at home as Iraqi outfit Al Shorta came from behind to win 3-2 at Salt Lake Stadium in the AFC Champions League Two. David Hmar put Antonio Lopez Habas' side ahead in the eighth minute with a sharp turn and finish inside the penalty box. Although Ahmed Yahya equalised six minutes later for Al Shorta, Hmar struck again following a hydration-break instruction to send the home fans into raptures. However, Al Shorta turned the match on its head early in the second half, with Hussein Ali Al-Saedi and Kingsley Kuku scoring two goals in two minutes to seal full points for the visitors. 📱 Watch all the action from the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Two LIVE only on FanCode 🎥 Full Match highlights available on the FanCode YouTube channel Hit the Bell 🔔 icon to never miss an update.
