Really dissapointed on this update. We were all expecting a lot more after 4 years and on top of that a $299 sticker price? I'll pass until the price goes down.

$299 ridiculous, i have two older apple tv, three firesticks and a fire cube and was hoping to update my apple tvs and drop the firesticks. But nooooo. Not now
To me, Apple just priced themselves out of the market without even offering a cheaper option. There’s no way I would ever pay this for an Apple TV. This is gonna end up being the Vision Pro of streaming.

This Apple TV is a pass. Apple just made that decision so easy. We should be thankful for them pricing it 2X what it should be, now we don't need to worry if we missed out.
It’s official. Apple has lost it’s mind. $299 for a slightly updated Apple TV? I think not. I will keep my current model until it breaks, and purchase a replacement on eBay after that.
