Apple today is starting to feel like the pre Jobs 90's era. It's just a bunch of engineers and teams releasing random stuff. None of it really seems to make a ton of sense. Apple is really really missing a vision leader. The products taken alone are all pretty good. But that's not what made Apple successful. They sell an ecosystem, not products, and right now their ecosystem just isn't very interesting.
This has got to be the most aimless product I’ve seen from Apple in some time.

They are making the same mistake that John Sculley made in the 90s. They are trying to spread themselves too much. Steve Jobs was way more focused and that made Apple successful.

I had been sitting on some first generation HomePods waiting for Apple to update them to allow 4 speakers. No way I’d spend the money to get that setup now when a good soundbar with surrounds and sub come in much cheaper.

The film Apple made was just… annoying. The family was unlikable. Cringeworthy. The whole time I kept thinking… Why don’t they just use their iPhones? Who would do this if they all have iPhones or Apple Watches? The connected devices, like the thermostat they showed in the film as if it were some modern miracle that one can change the temp from a device (wow!) was just… dumb. What possible motivation has Apple give me (an admittedly Apple fanboy) to ditch my dozens of Ring devices, Schlage devices, Nest and Cielo devices, in favor of any of this? NONE. Big miss, Apple. Did you ask no one what they thought after watching that film? If so, either you didn’t listen to their feedback or whoever you asked was too afraid to speak truth to you.

Tell it like it is, Luke! Apple is really out of touch with its customers and the era we live in. EVERYTHING GOT SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE IN APPLE-TOWN without adding much value. The only recent good thing was the Macbook Neo and the Mac Mini, but both went up in price so much that all the praise Apple got a few months ago are all evaporated. I hope the new Apple CEO does not bring Steve Job's overpriced view of all Apple products. (I can't believe Tim Cook was the reasonably pricing CEO).
