He Built an ANTI-RAIN Motorcycle With a Fully Enclosed Cockpit He was tired of getting soaked every ride, so he turned a wrecked motorcycle into an ANTI-RAIN machine with a fully enclosed cockpit. He built a homemade vacuum forming setup, lost a $400 polycarbonate sheet, failed again and again, and finally cracked it with an old AC compressor turned vacuum pump. The result is a rain-proof motorcycle that turns heads.

NOW ALL HE HAS TO DO IS ADD TWO MORE TIRES SO IT IS SAFE TO RIDE IN RAIN!
Hey, how about just don’t ride in the rain
I ride in sun rain floods snow. If I didn’t like the riding in all weathers I wouldn’t have a bike lol.
This guy stops at nothing, he doesn't take no for an answer great job.
All that time and money wasted
Looks to me like he failed twice and finished up with AI
It is also safter if you had an accident. You won'r get thrown from the motorcycle or get road rash.
Motorcycle riders, what are your wildest rides in the rain? 1. Our group on sport bikes were at a restaurant about 30 minutes on the highway from home. We saw this huge storm coming in and tried to get home before it hit. We were too late. The rain hit us and almost immediately turned into a downpour. The rain quickly filled up the troughs where the pavement was cupped from vehicle tire tracks. All the vehicles were throwing water out into huge wakes like motorboats. As the temperature dropped fast, we had to open our visors a crack to clear the fogging, but that let some of the rain in to hit our eyes. Visibility was already minimal but that plus the need to squint plus vehicles throwing water across lanes required 100% concentration. My buddy and I had many years of riding sport bikes under our belts, so we just tucked down behind our fairings, blew past all the vehicles that were bunched up and made it back in normal time. Given what we rode through, we were surprised by how little our leathers were wet. 2. I was riding south out of Edmonton on highway 2a South near Wetaskiwin when I saw what looked like a dark cloud spilling out a sheet of rain. I thought if I sped up, I could punch through that sheet and be out of the rain. But instead I hit a combination of rain and hail that was coming down so fast that visibility was zero. It was like a white out on a ski hill. I cut the throttle and put on a small amount of brake. It was when my bike started to wobble, that I realized I was already stopped. That just showed how complete the white out was. I put my bike on the shoulder of the road and walked off into the ditch. If I could see nothing, so could anyone following me in a car in that white out. When I got to Calgary, I found out that the storm I hit had turned into a tornado, which first came down where I had been 15 minutes before I stopped for the white out. That Friday, July 31’st, 1987 became known as Black Friday. At its peak, the tornado turned into an F4, rain wrapped wedge a half mile across, with a wind speed of 260 mph, just 1 mph shy of a F5 on the old Fujita scale. It took 27 lives, injured hundreds more and caused a couple hundred $million damages. Edmonton is so far north that nobody ever dreamed there could be a powerful tornado rip through the city, never mind a F4 rain wrapped wedge a half mile across. Some of the people who died drove right into it on a freeway, not realizing what they were driving into. When I got back on Sunday, I saw some those vehicles out in the fields by the freeway. They were just balls of metal. There were also rear axles lying around that must have been torn off some of the vehicles. Those were my two most memorable motorcycle rides in the rain. Anyone else have some interesting/challenging rides in the rain?
