You need a separate phone. One with no contacts, not used for browsing, separate email or day to day anything. Then give it permission to access the nonexistent contacts on the phone.

It’s even more insidious when apps just tell you to approve access your location data for no real purpose. 90% of people just click yes not fully understanding that this random phone game company now has 24/7 access to your real time location and have almost certainly sold it to potentially dozens or hundreds of other companies and data brokers

Agreed we're getting ready to go back to landline phones I don't care how much it costs. It's costing me much more allowing these companies to intrude in our lives. As for pictures and video, I'm going back to my digital cameras. I'm going back to the old stereo systems and I am going back to my handheld voice recorders. I'm done with all of it. I am also going to be putting a CB into my car & Jeep. We already have handheld walkie talkies at both of our properties. F' em!
