I’m not sure about other auctions, but I used to work at an IAA and we had constant problems with people stealing parts. I’m not sure about the coils, but the engine photo should show whether or not the MAF was present at check in

Should look at the car before buying. I bid on a vehicle and actually looked at it before I bid. Got there to pick it up, and it had parts missing, that were clearly shown in the photos, different wheels etc. They actually caught one of their employees who was stripping parts and had him arrested. They offered me 60% off the bid price and I took it, plus I could strip whatever parts I needed off one of their scrap yard cars. Was a good deal.

I would never have paid that much for that car in that condition. I knew in the first 2 seconds that someone will have taken half the parts with them already, and that it would mostly be too beat up to part out. But on the flip side your key guy is a wizard 😅
