I am 40 minutes into the movie and I am really learning. Conflict resolution is really tough in relationships. The man was right for saying how unkempt the wife was. She was so dirty that she didn't flush the toilet. The wife was right in feeling hurt from the yelling of the husband. She shut herself and religion was more of escaping than abiding. Then there is the truth, truth; that sometimes people, in this case the wife, needed the husband to speak to her at her level, with her language which was submerging grief. The husband is very meticulous and particular in what he wants and it is both a strength and a weakness. Knowing your strengths and how it can collide with other people with less strength than you can help you in extending more grace to other. We will always find screwed interpretations of scriptures that suit us as the husband did to the wife. Lastly, I love it that Ruth focused on delivering a relatable movie and not always being a star by the husband leaving the wife for her. Can we be commenting on more pertinent things? Rather than who is here for Ruth or who is watching this movie on..., you will be a billionaire if you click on my comment is quite irrelevant

I lost my threeplets pregnancy at 17 weeks and nearly lost my life, I did not leave my room for over 5months, I dint even know how my parlor looked looked like. After 5momths I bearly wanted to go out, its was over one year before I gradually started to go out and I do everything possible to avoid leaving the house, I just thank God I had a great support system, I later got pregnant again and was not excited till I gave birth, I was just preparing my mind just in case, I did not buy baby things till about 38weeks.my new born is currently 2months.i thank God I took all the time I needed to heal and still healing

This movie was really well written. Mental health is so important! I like how in the end, it wasn’t a typical happily ever after. It was more bittersweet, which is honestly more realistic because in real life, we don't always regain access just because we're sorry. Forgiveness doesn't have to mean reconciliation. Well done💗
