How Hard Could Building a Roof Be?

We're back to work on the new aviary, and today we're tackling the roof! Brent and I are figuring things out as we go, and let's just say there was a lot more measuring, cutting, and head-scratching than we anticipated. We're also reusing some beautiful old lumber from the farmhouse that has a pretty interesting history. It's a full day of building, a few mistakes, and plenty of laughs, but we're making progress!
