The Las Vegas Sphere’s massive computing setup is attracting attention online as rising memory prices put pressure on technology buyers in India. The entertainment venue uses approximately 150 NVIDIA RTX A6000 graphics cards, together providing around 7,200GB of dedicated graphics memory. Each card contains 48GB of GDDR6 memory. This hardware helps power the Sphere’s enormous interior display and exterior visuals, which have made the venue recognisable worldwide through videos of animated faces, landscapes and immersive entertainment. 7,000GB RAM: The figure represents video memory, or VRAM, distributed across many graphics cards. NVIDIA disclosed the graphics setup in 2024. The information is therefore an older technology detail receiving renewed attention, rather than a newly announced hardware installation. For Indian consumers, the comparison comes amid concerns about the affordability of laptops, gaming computers and memory upgrades. Growing demand from artificial intelligence infrastructure has contributed to global memory supply pressures, affecting the broader electronics market. The Sphere’s installation itself should not be blamed for India’s RAM shortage or higher component prices. Graphics memory and the DDR4 or DDR5 modules used in everyday computers serve different requirements and cannot simply be treated as interchangeable products. The discussion highlights the scale of specialised computing behind modern entertainment. While the Sphere uses thousands of gigabytes to deliver spectacular visuals, Indian buyers face the practical challenge of finding affordable hardware for study, work and gaming. This is unfair bro the sphere is killing all the RAM prices
As far as I know it's not the reason ram increasing price and the fact is it was made in 2023 way before ram shortage. Ram storage happening because of the Ai company like chatgpt , gemini , grok etc
