This a ctually happened at a job i worked at. We did bathroom remodels and gutters/gutter helmet mainly, but we did additions and any kind of home repairs as well. Anyways, they were doing a bathroom remodel and the crew was showing up to do the demolition. And they knew it was the house with the missing piece of siding, as they were going to repair that as well. Long story short, the house across the street had a missing piece of siding as well, and the guys didnt bother to confirm the actual address before repairing the siding, and walking into the house to start the demo of the bathroom. Thats when the customer called our shop and said that he was watching our crew destroy his neighbors bathroom! They just so happened to leave their door unlocked and has a missing piece of siding that was the same color as the actual job! They person whos bathroom they demoed ended up getting a free bathroom remodel and their siding fixed for free as well, as compensation so they wouldnt sue haha. And its crazy because nobody even got fired for that either!
