I bought a bunch of broken game consoles on Whatnot. I paid $1,573 for everything. Which should be a good deal... but that depends on how many I can fix. ►Tools & Parts I Use (paid link): https://www.amazon.com/shop/tronicsfix ►TronicsFix Game Console Repair Forum: https://www.tronicsfixforum.com/ 🎵 Like the Music? $200 or more for a used switch lite? I get them for about $79 working
Good to see you in great health, sir.
I’m not sure why, might be the scary health stuff I’m going through currently, or might be calm tone of voice and that no matter what the issue is you don’t freak out you just get to work, but I feel like I could just sit in that room watching you work on stuff for hours and be happy. Reminds me a lot of when I was a kid and sat out in my dad’s workshop watching him tool around. Thanks for these videos!
Time to add "did you unsolder the capacitor and solder it back on again" to the tech repair lexicon, I guess 😆
N64 capacitor I would assume was "fixed" by heating it. Not likely to last long; should be replaced
As some people said in previous videos, the price is too high even for broken consoles.
He wipes down the screen but it's still horrible, covered in fingerprints. Oh hang on, that's my screen
The one common denominator in all of Steve's repair videos is how poorly people treat their expensive game systems. They clumsily spill liquids into their devices, they scratch the heck out of the screens, they drop the units causing a lot of damage to the internals and plastic cases. Let's not forget the crusty finger crud that is left behind because eating that doughnut with goo is always a good thing around electronics These aren't Samsonite luggage or cases thrown around in a cage by a gorilla (yes that was once an ad), they are fragile electronic devices. But hey keep breaking your stuff so Steve can make awesome content for us.
What a nice way to start a friday.
Wow gold with black on the PSP looks great!
Paid more for the switch than for the ps5 dude
As someone who's heavily considering starting their own repair side hustle, your videos are fantastic
These prices are ridiculous. Whatnot is such a sketchy platform
That Galaxy 3DS must be the hardest fix in the channel's history. I'm not sure how you pulled that one off.
No heaven song on applying Liquid Metal on ps5 😅😂
The sound on the Nintendo started working because the capacitor was heated. It is 100% faulty.
Hi Steve, i dont have anything fancy to say,, just Love your fixit vids .. makes me happy!! :D <3 WEEEEE!!
I just repaired like 30 NES cartridges that had been in storage for like 30 years thanks to your guide. They ALL work now and I’m super happy. Thanks Steve love you and the channel!
39:22 got to set that custom max bid Steve. Don’t get swipe happy lol.
Cool color scheme on that psp. Damn shame about the damaged plastics though.😕
