We also cover rising CPU prices and hardware prices, SoftBank wanting another $100 billion for its AI buildout and data centers, GTA VI coming to PC sooner than expected, and the PlayStation 5 hack to support PS2 discs natively. The PC world has gone absolutely bat-shit crazy.
This is the golden age of jailbreak
😂 My wallet saw these specs and entered safe mode.
I'm realizing that my current last-gen desktop is the most powerful compute I will ever get to own.
"The AI agents can play games on your behalf while you go work in the power plant to fuel them." - indeed, the hopeful promise of the future has never been so bright as this.
Can't wait for the future of AI "agents" playing games for us so we can all stop wasting time doing dumb stuff, like having fun and relaxing, and instead contribute more to the shareholder value! When corporations fail to deliver, hackers will.
Can confirm people give you complements when you wear a microslop shirt
I used to watch tech YouTubers as a way of staying up to date with new stuff, seeing cool projects, etc. These days when a tech video ends up in my timeline I just skip it because the chances it makes me depressed or pisses me off are almost 100%.
I'm proud to announce that I am officially four months 'Microslop'-free.
I used to play on PC. Life happened, have two kids now that I spend all my time with when I’m not working; said to myself I’d come back to PC and be the cool Grampa online lol. Now I’m doubting there will even be a pc gaming industry in 10 years as the prices seem to keep going up for new components.
Often I have sat and wondered: "How can I end my destructive and selfish independence so that my life can better serve the needs of Nvidia's investors?" Then it hit me, like a spark shooting from the divine fire...
I proudly wear my MicroSLOP shirt everywhere too.
nVidia has so much money they have forgotten what it's like to live as a normal person...
It’s wild to watch NVIDIA just make shit up as they try to pretend that anyone wanted any of this slop.
I believe Steve's hair has an SCP entry by now.
The worst part about this dystopia is how boring of a dystopia it is. There's nothing new or interesting coming out anymore. It's just "this slop machine slops 1.2x faster than the previous gen! And it only costs [You can't afford it anyway] dollars!" Yeah, thanks. Meanwhile, every single part in my PC besides the fans, PSU and case has increased in price so much that I couldn't afford to build it again if I wanted to.
I love that you started the video out saying you were SHOCKED NVidia didn't invite you to their Spark showcase, while wearing that shirt. NEVER change, Steve! You're the best!!
if SI is super intelligence, MSI is Massive Super Intelligence
Meanwhile the majority of the industry is STILL not delivering AI-related/enhanded/integrated products yet. Enterprise demand, for AI consists of: Project managers slopping together presentations & status reports, and that one guy who constantly pastes Claude responses into the meeting chat, while you're still discussing the question.
