You've reached the end
19 degrees is crazy
THANK YOU for subtitles
Instructions unclear my gpu is now outside my window.
You can do that with intake fans at the bottom. Blowing cool air directly towards the GPU fans.
Check out the TrashBench YouTube channel for the full video if you’re interested.
So the image you showed is perfect with the fish tank case with bottom fans because the case fans are blowing right onto the gpu
I bet you could 3d print a mount for that position
Those fans probably turn in the same direction so if we put stationary blades that turn the air to the opposite direction and put it in a tube that gets smaller as it goes on, then we will essentially be pulling compressed cold air- I just realized I'm making a jet engine again... I'm sorry.
You can safely mount like that if you get an upright gpu mount. Archetype Origins made a build similar to that already, it was water cooled tho.
that shirt is perfect for the season!
This is why I always recommend to people to place three, largest size that will fit, fans at the bottom of the case blowing up. Unlike air coming in from the front, side, or back. The GPU will get the most out of this placement.
The purpose of the "fan curve" in the graphics card settings is ACTUALLY to find a balance between a safe temperature for the chip and fan noise. If the graphics card was set to 75-80 degrees Celsius, which is considered quite safe for the chip, and three case fans were forcibly blowing air into it, reducing the temperature to 60, that's exactly the 15-20 degrees he gained. He could likely have gained even more by simply cranking the fan curve to 100% in the driver settings. You can also buy a professional turbo fan if you love the sound of a data center and experience arousal at temperatures below 50 degrees.
Well we used to like cable management and looks didn't we I mean fishtanks were all about them
I just changed cases to tackle that exact problem. I was getting GPU temps in the 80’s and my hotspots were shooting up to 106 and crashing the card. Swapped into an Antec C8 Wood Curve and added 6 Arctic P-14’s for top and bottom, exhaust and intake respectively, and a Noctua NF-A14 for the rear exhaust that I set to only run when the GPU is under higher loads. After applying a fan curve to create positive case pressure now my temps are sitting in the low 60’s under full load and hotspots haven’t gone over 75. I also upgraded my Asetek 120mm AIO to a Kraken Elite 360 and I had no idea that my 5800X could run as cool as it has been. After install I was getting max temps in the high 50’s running Cinebench (something that has caused my PC to shut down from high CPU temps before).
I've thought for a while the actual layout of a gaming pc doesn't really make sense. Something has to put heat of something else at this point. We have seen that 3d printed air chambers lower temps.
Older cases from the 2005-2015ish era had mounting holes for fans on the side panel.
Companies taking notes for the next tower case.
The layout is case specific though. If you have 3 intake fans on the bottom of your case, having your graphics card right above them in the normal spot works wonders. Cold air from underneath the case going right to the graphics card.

Damn Zach using the Hassan special 😂
