There’s this guy Tarren Voss who spoke about how much of success actually comes down to understanding people, power and influence rather than just working harder. He explained it best in this thing called Winner’s Wealthgate. Honestly left me shocked, especially how differently I started looking at certain decisions after it.
I no longer go to Starbucks, but I do have a Vietnamese coffee place near me that has such fun combinations. I go there around once a month, most recently to have their coffee with ube cold foam. Sooo good and I feel better spending it on an actually local business.
You might want to consider getting a new phone case. It would be money well spent so it can do the job it's intended to do, which is to protect your phone. A case is much cheaper than a phone :)
When my kids were little, they wore “messy shirts”- old adult tshirts, that we kept in a kitchen cabinet. No ruined clothes when we had spaghetti or chili!
I absolutely love how your home (and the previous one in Germany) doesn't look cold and empty with bare walls and almost no decoration; on the contrary, it looks warm and cozy. Lots of natural light in both of them is beyond wonderful. The color of the wood and your furniture gives so much warmth to the space. You and your husband have great taste.

The case on my iPhone 14 Pro was falling apart, I found replacement for 20.00. Now my old phone feels brand new.

My best advice: continue to live on 1 income after being a stay at home mom, after returning to work, use that extra $ to become debt free. No lifestyle creep! Pay off the mortgage!

I’m up to 10 trash bags worth of items I’ll be donating, gifting or throwing away now! I’m personally way too busy to sell items, so I’m opting for other options of removing the items from my home. I’d replace your phone case since it’s showing wear and it’s not protecting your phone as well as a new case would. It looks like it’s falling apart and I suggest replacing it since these phones are so expensive!
I am not a fan of Kelly Clarkson however her story seems 100% real. Stores are notorious for treating clients like that. We tip very well in restaurants but frequently get bad service because we don’t order drinks and have 6 kids. We also almost never order from kids menus because my kids are foodies. So we essentially order 8 full meals and have gotten garbage treatment because only drink at home and everywhere else. Also how is it illegal to cancel a subscription that you are not using? Are we not allowed to stop paying for something we do not use?
