The 2012 London Olympic 100m final was one of, if not the greatest 100m races ever. The lineup was packed with stars, all in their primes... Usain Bolt, Justin Gatlin, Asafa Powell, Tyson Gay, Yohan Blake. When the gun went off, Usain Bolt later in a podcast said, he remembers seeing Justin Gatlin a step ahead of him at the very start and couldn’t believe it. Gatlin, meanwhile, was leading at the 50-meter mark and said he was already thinking about how he was going to celebrate. But just when Gatlin thought he was going to win, Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake overtook him from both sides.

The fact that Yohan was not mention in the top 5 and beat everyone except bolt in that race is crazy.
Yohan Blake in this prime was insane. He might have been the best sprinter ever not named Usain Bolt
I don’t think we will see something like this again in the next 50 years at least
The most epic 100M in history
Race of the millennium even though we are still early in this century, but it’s hard to produce such talents the same era in 74 years to come
Proof that Usain Bolt is the best runner of all time
Yohan Blake, Tyson Gaye, Justin Gaitlin man oh man. They would be the three fastest man in history, no doubt if Bolt had decided to anything else but run.
I think Justin Gatlin has been overly vilified.....he is a genuinely nice guy
Remember in the conversation that Justtin Gatlin did on asafa’s podcast, he stated that he was the singular person who threatened through boycott and demanded that all the sprinters get a mandated minimum for participating in any event. He was a pioneer and advocate for fair labor. They vilified him for that, but he conquered the system. Sprinters prior weren’t making any money for participating in events that were generating hundreds of millions.
One of the greatest 100m races
As a Jamaican, I like Justin he's a kool guy . He doesn't take things personal. He knows it a race. But when you see Black & Green next to you Justin.. celebration is a very slim chance lol we love you men❤
When sprinting was elite
Those guys were running with pride and love for the sport not for money
Don’t forget Yohan
"Black and green on my left and black and green on my right" 😂😂😂
No, five best sprinters of all time was in that race.
Bolt redifined sprinting at 6'5". His feet hit the ground on average 41 times. The average elite sprinter 45 times.
Bolt a race horse 🏇
Blake ❤ so underrated
I was deployed in Afghanistan 🇦🇫 feeling proud as a Jamaican
