Keep in mind they were willing to PAYOUT the contract in advance in order to remove them and Flock still chose not to agree. Which would mean, they get more money having all that data they stole then they do from their contracts to install them. Which in turn means it is about spying on the people more than anything else.

The data is more important to flock than the contract

Sounds like turning a blind eye to a campus wide paintball fight would have fixed this faster

That is so illegal. First off, you can't just deny a cancellation for that reason. Second, you can't go and modify something someone purchased from you without warning like that

Honestly, if the contract signed turns out to be not in the client’s favour, they have every right to back out so long as they notify the provider to keep good faith. Also, I believe contracts are supposed to work two ways, where if one or the other opts out before the time, it just ends

The data they collect is priceless, they have so much rights that we the people don't have. Its sick whats happening in and to this country.

The final screwup was the college’s. They should have put a solid-walled, hollow, sight-blocking cylinder either on the same pole, or a second pole immediately next to the Flock one. Make sure it encapsulates the camera and blocks the view without touching the Flock “property”. This way, if Flock still sends those people out to “fix” the problem, they HAVE to damage your property. This makes them vandals and since they represent the company, you might be able to get the contract nullified for criminal conduct.

I feel like it's illegal, if it's not, it's morally stupid on flocks part 😂

Holy jumpscare at the start This is my college and I never expected to see it get talked about on this channel 😭 In all seriousness, it's an awesome community college campus. Makes me sad to see them get taken advantage of like this. All buildings have letters from A-Z, and they all connect to each other so you don't have to walk outside in the winter. It's nice for when you want to wander around a bit between classes (but also can suck if you have to go from building B all the way to building M in 15 minutes, lol). Also, the campus is super safe from my experience. You can easily find campus police roaming about or stationed at one of their desks in each building.

Trespass the workers. They're not utilities. Bags didn't break the college side of the contract. The flock works just damaged an "art installation" valued at $1,000,000,000

Just proves that flock isn't concerned with safety. They just want to gather information they can sell

Flock is a scam: The entire point is to harvest tracking information. They only charge people and organizations for it because it seems like a valuable service instead of a huge windfall of personal tracking information that they can sell to the highest bidder.

At that point just have someone make a metal box that can be locked on top of the cameras.
