ngl i'd love the pocket jukebox in the game. the press maybe feels a little weird but having a portable jukebox would be pretty sick
they should let the disk press listen to nearby noteblocks so you can make your own songs in-game

There is no reason this should only be an add on, it’s so simple to make this more vanilla and less odd. Change the Disc press to a Mini disc press, like a CD. That way we have standard jukebox discs that can only work on regular Jukeboxes and Mini Discs which only work on the portable Jukebox. As for the regular discs you’d need them to craft Mini Discs in the press, that way it’s sort of a trade off. Do you want to permanently make this rare disc portable only or not?

The disc press is something I’ve wanted for years. I would absolutely love a way to record your own music in-game to put onto a disc using note blocks, but I know that would be quite a complicated system to implement. They’d probably need to add a whole new music functional block set to make it possible for the game to recognise what is part of one musical piece. But you know what would be a perfect update to add such a system? The Sift.
