PS5 jailbreaking has gotten to the point where GTA 6 might just be freely downloadable when it releases. Since buying isn't owning, many people are happy to view piracy as not stealing.
If training AI isn't stealing, then reverse engineering with AI isn't pirating.

They refuse to backwards compatibility is because if they ever decide to remaster or port older games they want us to pay a higher price. It also their fault before 400 for a collectors edition that doesn’t even include the game, you gonna be spending easily 600 for one game.
Hey sony, want to stop the pirates? Offer a better service then them! Its that simple. Netflix almost killed off piracy completely on that market because of its convenience, and fair price. Then they single handedly brought it back because they started screwing up everything that made it work.

It’s crazy how Sony’s PlayStation division is trying to end physical media. While Sony’s music division is trying to bring back physical media like vinyl records and cassettes, as those mediums become more popular again.
